Along with just a small number of other high end production companies CLAi now shoot in a 4k Digital Cinema format rather than on 35mm film, which gives fantastic results and huge savings in budget and time, but it completely changes the way a project comes together. There are no longer distinct lines between pre-production and production, and between the various production departments and post-production. Why? Because for Digital Cinema to work it requires a different mindset - a single matrix - and the ability to precisely plan out in advance how a project can be safely and efficiently shot so it can be seamlessly carried into the edit suite and then finished and mastered to produce the best possible results - with images and sound that equals or betters 35mm!

The best way to ensure this all happens is to consider pre-planning, the shoot, soundtrack, graphics, editing and finishing as a single entity. When CLAi produce a project this all happens automatically, because we can handle everything needed on an entire project in-house, on our equipment, with our key personnel.
