CLAi works in a multitude of different mediums for shooting. Chris Layhe Associates is well versed in RED Digital Cinema, High Definition and Standard Definition formats, allowing us to mold our line of work to any of your needs. The shoot is where the success of most projects is determined. We run our own RED One Digital Cinema Camera and Sony HDW-F900 Cinealta HDCam camera outfits, in addition to a few smaller POV cameras like our Sony HVR-V1U HDV.camera. We work in studio or on location - with a full complement of audio, lighting and gaffer equipment - and can then add our Big RED RV to the shoot and edit equation to allow on location DIT and "live" post. We bring the best freelance personnel available as crew and talent, working under our in-house director to ensure that we have exactly the right skills in the right positions for the shoot. By owning all the key equipment we control quality, reliability and availability, allowing us to be sure that we have the perfect cameraman or cinematographer for each of our shoots.
